Enterprise Regional Sales Director - US East Coast

The Enterprise Regional Sales Director is responsible for meeting and exceeding pre-determined goals and objectives by direct outreach to commercial sales targets and establishing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with all designated channel partners.  Concurrently, this person enables channel partners to successfully execute new business on behalf of the firm, by providing them with regular sales and technical training programs, so that partners can operate as an efficient extension of the direct sales team.  Lastly, as new and unique opportunities arise within partner-led engagements, the manager acts as the primary liaison between the customer, the partner, and the company, in order ensure transparent and efficient business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual activity and sales performance objectives
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers and Partner Sales Teams in managing all aspects of the sales process
  • Track and manage customer engagements, and contracts utilizing the company's CRM
  • Collaborate with channel partners to build sales pipeline and close deals
  • Sell renewals and upgrades (as they become available) to existing customers
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities that will close in 2017 and 2018
  • Research and target the key accounts and contacts that our firm’s products will help, in order to build a strong pipeline of future prospects
  • Perform effective online product demos to new prospects

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years security and/or software vendor industry is a sales capacity and experience in customer account management
  • 5+ years experience working for an enterprise technology vendor with Fortune 500 and government customers
  • Proven track record in a sales and customer service environment
  • 2+ years experience in channel management and development in the software industry
  • 2+ years experience in training channel partners on sales and technical areas in the software industry
  • The proven ability and experience of dealing with senior executives without supervision
  • Basic understanding of software license agreements, NDAs, and purchasing processes
  • Ability to work independently in a start-up environment, where corporate resources are limited
